Corresponding Collections (1978) was an audio and slide installation presented at Real Art Ways Gallery, Hartford (CT). Images here depict preparatory drawings associated with this project. The final RAW installation included a two-channel audiotape with a back-and-forth dialogue spoken by a male (channel one) and female (channel two) with slight southern accents. An 80-image slide carousel projected images of my face onto the gallery wall. Text for the audio was excerpted from personal correspondence. Three of the images here, Death Rattle, Mourning Watch, and Two Chairs —— One with Two Functions, were alternate concepts for the installation’s visual elements
